As part of the engineering team at Jod, you will join a diverse team of developers distributed across Singapore, Seoul, Jakarta, Tokyo and Manila to develop solutions and products that have a real impact on the lives of underserved and disadvantaged workers across Asia.

As a Data Analyst, you will be the intelligence that helps us achieve our mission to empower blue collar workers at scale in a more efficient and measurable way. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, from engineering to build a robust data pipeline, marketing to help better understand our users and management to help extract insights and support impactful decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Create and own the analytical framework for core metrics monitoring, visualization and attribution analysis of our job marketplace
• Develop and maintain specialized dashboards that monitor key performance indicators. Translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate these clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead all data reporting, both ad hoc and automated both for internal and external stakeholders through building dashboards, automating customer reports and delivering data requested in an accurate and timely manner
• Evaluate the short-term and long-term impact of projects across a wide variety of functions such as product, marketing and sales initiatives to help management understand and evaluate ROI and impact
• Dive deep into the data to understand how different metrics impact with each other. Use your insights and recommendation to guide the business teams decisions and areas of focus.
• Establish standardized protocols for all manually generated project outputs. Streamline document formats, key stages, and external reporting to enhance efficiency and consistency across teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science preferred
• 3+ years experience as a data analyst in a mobile or consumer internet business or startup
• Familiarity with Python and SQL - experience with PHP and machine learning is a plus
• Familiarity with statistics and dashboarding tools like PowerBI as well as experience in user growth, metrics creation, A/B testing, and data modeling.
